CranioSacral Wave on Cranio Sacral apps for iPhones
Craniosacral practitioners are working with slow waves they can feel in each part of the body. The most used and best known wave has a rhythm around 6 cycles per minute.
It has been recently demonstrated that this craniosacral wave presents a good relationship with one of the waves that can be extracted from the heart.
Heart rate variability can be objectified by spectral analysis
(a mathematical method for breaking down the different oscillations present in a rhythm).
This app will display in real time the different waves which are part of the heart rate spectrum.
Commonly, the literature shows the following three major spectral components in the field of photoplethysmographic analysis of blood flow:
(from 9 to 24 cycles/min);
(2.5 to 9 cycles / min);

Real time waves of
HRV, HRV_VLF, HRV_LF, PPG_LF
The craniosacral wave is related to
the yellow pressure curve.
The LF band is related to the
(still present without breath).
This Mayer wave presents a good correlation with the CranioSacral wave (see ref 1, 2, 3, 4) .
This CranioSacral app will display
in real time your sacrocranial wave* and help you to interact with it.
* CranioSacral wave is a blood pressure wave and can only be displayed wiith light sensor like Camera or Finger Sensor
(can not be displayed with HRV sensors like Polar Chest Strap)
